Let’s get started with some gaming news!

A sequel to Titanfall is confirmed! The next installment of Respawn’s FPS will be available on multiple platforms, unlike it’s predecessor which was Microsoft-exclusive.  Titanfall 2 (name TBD) will expand upon the lore, and the developers aren’t sure if they’ll include a single-player aspect or not. CEO and founder of Respawn Vince Zampella says they want to work on the DLC model, however. “I think that’s a fantastic way to do it,” Zampella said, pointing out Evolve’s free maps. “I think having the maps like that in packs, it does split the community and it makes it harder for matchmaking, it’s messy. Yeah. I don’t know we won’t do it again, I can’t say that for sure, but the idea would be to do something different.”

The Xbox One’s sales are going up, according to NPD data. The console sold 84% more consoles last month than it did in January. This can partially be contributed to the Xbox One’s ongoing price cut, which has the console selling for $349 instead of $399. Xbox Live usage was also at a high, averaging 74 hours in February. The PS4 was once again the best-selling home console for the month , but if you include handhelds, Nintendo’s 3DS crushed the competition. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was the best-selling game.
