STEAM SALE!

The Steam Summer Sale has arrived! It runs June 11th until June 20th. This year’s little mini-game is the Monster Summer Game. The mini-game lets the community come together to unlock deals, all within the browser. However, whether the game actually works is a different question. As Kotaku reports, Monster Game has seen more than 1.5 million people playing at a time; DOTA 2, Steam’s most-played game, generally sees 800,000 players at once. Regardless of how the mini-game works (or doesn’t), Steam’s summer sale is sure to empty our pockets, one $2.49 game at a time.

Corridor Digital brings GTAV to life with “Real GTA,” a realistic portrayal of a day in Los Santos (aka Los Angeles). The video short does a good job of looking like it’s straight out of GTAV; or maybe that means the game does a good job of looking real? Either way, it’s a fun watch.

Blizzard keeps releasing more and more Overwatch. If you want to stay up to date, follow their YouTube channel. It has playlists of all the characters as they release gameplay footage, and in-depth videos of their abilities.

Halo 5 is scheduled to release on October 27th for Xbox One. The game takes place five months after the events in Halo 4, and will include some familiar faces. Halo 5 will incorporate the Prometheans and the infamous Covenant, as well as The Arbiter and Nathan Fillion’s Buck from ODST.  Subsequently,  it wouldn’t be a Microsoft product without Cortana.

Ace Team announced their new game, Deadly Tower of Monsters.  The game is a one-player experience, and is an amalgamation of ridiculous B-movies. You play 1 of 3 actors trying to fight their way through robot monkeys, nuclear ants, and mutant-crab-birds, all to get to the top of a tower on the planet Gravoria. It’s due out for PS4 and PC this fall. For those interested, players can also engage in the thrilling experience of play online casinos with credit cards.
