Another E3 has come and gone, and with it, an overwhelming amount of video game announcements. But fret not! I have all the news for you in a nice, small serving! I’m gonna list all of the things I think you should know, along with links to trailers, Kickstarter pages, etc…
Sony/Playstation
- Team ICO’s The Last Guardian is still alive and kicking after 8 years! Expect to see this PS4 exclusive in 2016.
- Shenmue 3, the long-awaited conclusion to the popular Dreamcast trilogy, is being kickstarted. It broke the Guinness World Record for being the fastest game to raise $1 million on a crowdsourcing platform (1 hour, 42 minutes). With 26 days to go, they’ve already raised $3,505,307 out of their $2M goal. Sega will not have a role in development. Shenmue 3 will also be available on PC.
- Horizon: Zero dawn is the newest title from Killzone studio Guerrilla Games, and it looks pretty cool. The trailer features a lady warrior fighting robot dinosaurs — but the main protagonist almost wasn’t a woman at all.
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, of course.

Gears of FourGears of War 4 and the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (also coming to PC).- ReCore, a new game from the minds behind Mega Man and Metroid Prime. “As one of the last remaining humans, forge friendships with courageous robot companions and lead them on an epic adventure through a mysterious, dynamic world.”
- Rare’s new adventure game Sea of Thieves
- Halo 5: Guardians gameplay and new multiplayer mode “Warzone.” You can also watch Conan play Halo 5 on “Clueless Gamer” with the cast of Silicon Valley (totally worth it).

- FALLOUT 4!!!!!!! Gameplay, character creation, crafting… I CAN’T WAIT. They also announced the Pip Boy Edition of the game, which will serve as their collector’s edition. It comes with a Pip Boy you can put your phone in and use. I’ve already pre-ordered it.
- Fallout Shelter for iOS (coming to Android soon). I haven’t put this game down since it was announced.
- Dishonored 2—I wasn’t a big fan of the first one, but you play as Emily in the sequel and I’m very intrigued. The first Dishonored will also be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
