Happy Tuesday everyone!!!! Hope you all have your Christmas shopping done!!! It’s CRAZY out there.

We talked a while ago about how Apple was doing a recall on it’s first gen iPod nano’s due to an over heating issue with the batteries. It was previously assumed that everyone would be getting a same model same color replacement. It was revealed via reports from MacRumors today that some users will be getting the current generation (6th) replacements. Since the 1st gens only came in 1, 2, and 4 gig models, where as the current the lowest is 8gb.. Users will also be getting a bit of a bump in music storage! Read more here.

If you’re up to date with what’s going in the House of Representatives, You’d know that SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Acts) has been a HUGE topic as of late. With no decisions being able to be made. They have again decided to post-pone any decisions. With the holidays around the corner a new date won’t be set until early January.

Did you buy yourself a Verizon Galaxy Nexus? Notice that the Google Wallet isn’t installed on it nor can you find it in the market? Well, Verizon blocked it entirely… Too bad it’s a world of the interwebz! Some people from XDA-Developers forum modified the app (with out rooting or modifying the fine structure on the phone) so you can install it via the internet. WOOT!

Are are you getting anxious to try out Google’s new operating system? Ice Cream Sandwich… 4.0… Samsung finally released the release schedule for their Galaxy phones and they will be receiving ICS some time in the first quarter next year. The phones on the list are the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note. The Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy R, and Galaxy Tabs will all be getting ICS but there isn’t a schedule set in stone yet.
