A fellow Bitcoin’er is climbing Mt Everest. If he makes it to the top, he has plans of placing a Bitcoin flag on the top. If he succeeds, it will truly be closest that Bitcoin has made it to the moon!! Not that this is a nature preserve type blog but.. There are a lot of people raising concern about this person climbing the mountain and leaving a flag some where on the summit and further littering one of the truly most majestic places on our earth. In 2014, Nepal implemented a rule/law that if you climb the summit, you are required to bring back 8kg of trash/human waste. If you fail to do so, you will forfeit a $4,000 deposit placed prior to the climb.

Nasdaq and the NYSE have stated that they are going to license Nasdaq;s X-stream technology to be used with trading Bitcoin. This is great news for the digital currency realm as it gives a vote of confidence from what would be considered the industry standard in the trading world. The more that large named entities get involved and invested into Bitcoin, the more it proves that Bitcoin is here to stay. There are a number of start ups that have built their own trading platforms which do in fact work. The thing that Nasdaq has going for them though… their software has been “battle-tested” for numerous years. Put to the ultimate test.
