Hello and happy Tuesday all!

One of Googles new side projects is to map out all wifi access points in America. Feel like that’s a bit intrusive? Since it’s public information (if you broadcast your SSID). You can opt to not be included in their database, to do so, change your wireless SSID name to include a “_nomap” on the end.

Speaking of Google, Tomorrow they are hosting some sort of live event, Music will be the topic of choice. It it known thus far that they haven’t signed a deal with 3 of the 4 major labels, tomorrow it was rumored that Universal would be signing. We’ll see what happens.

Microsofts CEO Steve Ballmer came out today talking about the new Windows 8, He didn’t confirm or deny whether or not Win8 would in fact be coming down to users phones. Kind of disappointing for Windows phone users, but there is still no official statement.

In other Microsoft news. Today is the 10th anniversary (birthday) of the beloved XBOX. Not quite the fad it was once said to be!!!

Have a great tuesday everyone!
